I know I'm pronouncing 'ongiri' very badly, being the super-gringo (slang for clueless white person) that I am. Ah well.
I got the idea for these from the rice-crispy sushi I made. This one I played by ear, so there's no recipie, but if you desperately want it, I can write one for you.
The rice-prisms (cuz they're not really balls, they're triangles) are rice-crispie treats and the seaweed is a cut-up fruit-rollup.
I made them for
's b-day, so they're dedicated to her, but (c)me with thanks to Rachel Ray for the sushi recipie.

These are adorable; a clever idea! I was poking around google for snack ideas for my art show opening. It's too close to do it now, but if I ever have the opportunity again, these would be great!
